"Linnea Lomax, a student at UC Davis and a native of Placerville, has been missing since June 26, when her parents went to pick up her up from an outpatient facility on Howe Avenue in Sacramento. Her parents asked that this letter be published in their attempt to contact their daughter and ensure she is safe."
This posting will by no means be grammatically correct. This posting is my rant/vent/plee to whoever will listen.
My back story, while long and boring it is informative and will help you to understand me as well as my drive and passion.
BACK STORY: My name is Marlon Ting. I am of Filipino/Chinese/White heritage. I was born in the lovely city of Seattle Wa. 8 years later my family moved my younger sister and I to Fairfield, Ca. where I now reside. I got my first job during high school working at a Mcdonalds as a cashier. I absolutely loved the job. I was able to meet and talk to all different kinds of people. Every day was a new adventure when it came to work, and I looked forward to it. After Mcdonalds I had many other jobs some with food, cars, and wine. All of them had one thing in common, CUSTOMER SERVICE. I sometimes hate that term though. I like to think of it as PUBLIC RELATIONS. I truly adore people whether they are having a bad or good day. I always try my best to make people happy. I am personable, warm, and inviting.
My passion’s: Cooking, Car’s, Family, and of course Women. Cooking is a passion of mine due to the fact that I love to eat. There are times when you cook, and you server your friend that cooked meal. You instantly see their face light up like the north star shining bright. For me it is a truly indescribable feeling that i have never been able to match. Car’s are my hobby. To pass the free time. Family will never leave me. My family have truly gotten me out of dark times. For that I will always be truly grateful.
Rewind back to December 22, 2011. Few days before Christmas I am browsing Tumblr.com. A great place with pictures and stories (blog site). I see a picture set of the Spam Musubi cooking process. Now mind you it is easy to make, with basic ingredients being: Rice, Spam, Seaweed, Sauce, Sushi Mold. I had a majority of all ingredients except for the mold. I thought to myself this would be cool to own one day. I reblog the post and add a few words to the photoset. I write: Someone buy me one of these please. Couple days later my friend posts on facebook that he bought me one in Hawaii as a Christmas present. I was so happy. I could now make Spam Musubi on my own.
Fast Forward: It is now Febuary 19, 2012. I am 25 years of age, Unemployed, living at home with my mother. What 25 year old wants to be in this position. I know I didn’t. At this time a lot of my friend had started small business with what they were good at. I thought to myself what am I good at. I am good at Cooking, Networking, and Customer Service. So that night of Febuary 19th I started www.facebook.com/fatpandamusubi. This would become my business and my source of income for the next 5 months. I started slow, but I advertised it on Facebook. All my friends got wind of it. That very next day Febuary 20th I was selling musubi to friends and family. It started slow but grew to be something profitable. I started with Original flavor. Then came Garlic and Spicy. I had a few muslim and non meat eating friends ask for a seafood musubi. I then developed Honey Walnut Shrimp. Now to date I have 6 different musubi’s to choose from. My orginal four plus Lemon Chicken and Heaven and Hell Panko.
My dream has always been to start a Café. A place where people could relax, do homework, talk with friend’s and socialize. A place to call my own. A place where I could serve people delicious food and drinks, so I could always be witness to that indescribable expression from customer’s faces. A place where my future kids can grow up and have they’re first jobs. I want to build my first and last job I will ever have.
I had made poor decision’s as a young adult. I currently have bad credit, no bank account, and no job. I need capitol to start my business. I just don’t have any. I feel that my business will thrive if I had a store front. My mother’s kitchen just isnt big enough anymore. I am always turning people away because I just cant accommodate everyone.
. So now I am doing whatever I can to see my dream succeed. Grants, Small Business Government programs, Idea’s, Suggestions, Advice and Donations from Friend’s, Family, and Strangers alike. I could use all the help I can. I can’t no I wont give up. It is not an option for me. This is my Dream and my Dream should come first before all and anything else.
My Goal is to raise $40,000 to help my business succeed the first 1.5 years. Money for wages, materials, utilities, rent and all other things that might arise during that 1.5 year’s.
I would appreciate any help from anyone. Like I said above. Advice, Suggestions, Idea’s and Donations. All and any help would be great.
Please email me all and any advice to Marlonrting@yahoo.com

"You’re a vision The perfect picture of an angel Sunlight shining on your face Through the window while you’re sleeping My arms around you I feel your heartbeat and something strong, girl I’m gonna hold this moment I’ll never let it go, yeah Like the look in your eyes on the day that we first met Walking on the beach, kissing as the sun sets Loving in the back seat, underneath the summer moon The weekend we spent down in New Orleans I gave you that ring while the rain was pouring I promised I’ll spend the rest of my life with you Making memories"
